 Welcome to the 2008/2009 season

UPDATE – September 2008

With the season close to hand, time to issue another update.

A Warm Welcome to new clubs –Wimborne AC, City of Salisbury ARC and Portsmouth University. We look forward to their competition.

Farley Mount – Our traditional opening meeting is at Farley Mount, probably one of the most challenging courses but one that our hosts, Winchester AC, have to work very hard to obtain. Winchester provide directional signs to the course. Please ask your members to follow the directions relating to parking and to expect a £1 per car parking fee to offset some of the cost. Please be aware the police may/will take action on cars parked incorrectly.

Vet Men Age Category –the age category for Vet Men is 40.

Affiliation Fees – Many thanks to the clubs who have paid their subscriptions, a reminder to others that payment is due by/on the first meeting. Fees for season 2008/9 is £70 per club, Payment should be made to Hampshire Cross Country League and addressed to Mike Scoggins as above.

E-Mail Addresses – please inform the Secretary if your club contact has changed.

John Popplewell
