Sportshall League

The Sportshall League began in its current format in 2001. Four separate team competitions are held for girls and boys in the Under 11 and Under 13 age groups. 'Grand Prix' competitions are held for Under 15 girls and Under 15 boys.

Entry fees

The competition fee has increased to £3.00 per athlete per match for U11s and U13s. Club Affiliation remains at £12 per team per age group per gender; this applies only to each U11 and U13 team. Affiliation can be paid in advance or at Match 1. Cheques should be made payable to "Hampshire AA".

Under 15s

This will run as a Grand Prix event over the 3 league fixtures. Any athlete that is HAA qualified is welcome to come along. Entry is £3.50 per match.

Regional and National Finals

Based on their performances in county competitions, athletes are selected to represent Hampshire in the Regional Finals, which take place at The Olympos, Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Hampshire teams that are successful in any of the Under 13 or Under 15 finals will qualify for the National Final later in the year.

The Under 11s Fun in Athletics South East Regional Final took place on 15 January, and the Under 13s and Under 15s South East Regional Finals on 12 February. Both the Under 13 Boys' and Girls' teams qualified for the UK Finals at the LG Arena, NEC, Birmingham on 21 April, where the Boys finished in third place and the Girls achieved Hampshire's best ever result by winning the National title.
