Cross-Country Championships
Dibden Inclosure, Saturday 7 January 2012

Start of the Senior and Veteran Men's race (image provided by Saucony)
The Hampshire AA Cross-Country Championships returned after a three-year absence to Dibden Inclosure, near Hythe on the edge of the New Forest. 663 athletes entered the championships and a total of 516 runners completed the ten races.
Thanks again to Hardley Runners for staging the event, to Hampshire officials for their professionalism and the runners and supporters for turning out in such numbers to support the Championships. The weather was super for running and the concerns about water on the course were largely unfounded.
I hope that everyone enjoyed it, and I hope to see as many runners next year.
